Studio Pictures at Kim Hinkle Photography

April 24^th-26^th: Competition Dance, Recreational Dance, and Competition Cheer

Studio pictures will be April 24^th-26^th.We can’t wait to see all of our kiddos looking beautiful for pictures.  

It is extremely important that you’re present for picture day.  We want everyone’s picture to be on our picture board at the studio.  If your child isn’t present, their picture will NOT be on the board.  We will NOT be photo shopping anyone this year.  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS, according to Kim. It’s very important that you are present during your scheduled time.  Do NOT be late as it will cause us to get off schedule and run behind.  Picture orders will be handled differently this year.  I will post info sheets on that from Kim Hinkle Photography.  If you have any questions regarding your scheduled times, feel free to contact Nina or see the office.  If you have questions regarding pictures and prices, please message Kim Hinkle Photography on Facebook.

Attached you will find scheduled times for April 24^th-26^th.  Please note that we schedule each group within a time frame.  This works great as long as everyone is dressed and ready at your scheduled time.  We will NOT wait if you’re late.

We want to remind you that there will be NO classes during picture week except for competition cheer kids attending the D2 Summit.  There will be practice Monday night for J1, J2, and S3. Coaches will notifiy you if there’s any time changes. 

All competitive teams will do hair & make up just as you do for competition.  All other classes can do a high curly pony or buns. If your costumes came with a headpiece, you need to wear that.  All rec dance classes can wear tan colored paws or tan colored slip-on jazz shoes.  Cheer coaches will notify cheer kids on how to wear your hair.     

We want to remind parents that you’re not allowed in the photography room per Kim’s request.  It makes things too chaotic.  We are able to keep the kids focused and get amazing shots when there is little to no distractions.   

Competition dancers and cheerleaders: We ask that you know what poses you will be doing for each routine when you go back to the photography room.  The majority of you have danced/cheered for years.  We don’t want to give you the same pose or similar poses each year.  I would also recommend this for any recreational child who has taken for several years.  We will still be posing, but it’s always great to have something in mind that you’ve never done before.  Kim also has a dance pose board that she purchased last year.  You can look at that to get ideas as well. 

Kim’s facility is extremely nice.  We ask that you respect her facility and everything in it.  We ask that you pick up after yourself at the end of the day.  Please NO food!  You can bring a bottle of water if desired. We also ask that you only bring one parent/guardian with you to pictures.  There won’t be space for any more than that.  If you have to bring small children, they will need to be supervised at all times.  Again, please make sure that you’re taking care of Kim’s facility.
